I did not know Gene as well as others.  I attended McBride only in 1950 the year we graduated.  I was only 16 when I graduated, so being a bit younger I did not really associate with my class mates.  However Gene and I both participated in track events and i recall one event (though I forget the school we were running agaist)

Gene came in first, I came in second and the other school came in third.  This was the only time I came in second (never first as Gene frequently did).  Doggone I have to tell the whole story (as Paul Harvey always said).  In this match mentioned, there were only the three of running!!!!!   Art LeBeau, Villa Ridge, MO

Were you related to a Gene Mueth? I remember that name when I graduated in 1950. That was the only year I went to McBride, before that I attended Maryhurst Norma.
