Played many sports at McBride. Had record intramural softball distance throw for a while (ha) but didn't play H.S. baseball (wanted faster paced game at the time). Football (C team and varsity), cross country, track, swimming (only year we had a team 1961), soccer.
Enjoyed art class more than any other. Liked speech class. Had a couple favorite teachers and coaches -coach Goodwin, Bro. Molnar (art), Bro. Fitzsimmon (speech).
Still visit with Jim Rung, and email Mike Otten.
Rode to school on Mondays during football season with members of football Cardinals (Sonny Randall, Bill Kohman, Ken Panfil, Jerry Stovall). Tore kidney as senior at football practice :-) - missed four weeks and healed fast but returned to play last two games.

Happy Happy Birthday Dale! An official Okie, huh? I love fishing Grand Lake and had buddies that recently were at Tenkiller and had a great time. I don't miss the tornadoes but love the fishing. Hope you have MANY more birthdays.

Jim was a good high school friend and later roommate for two years. I was fortunate to spend time with Jim and Lee at Lake of the Ozarks in September of this year.

Was fun seeing a bunch of the guys although a couple I had hoped to see weren't there Friday evening. I didn't attend the Saturday event but the classmates get together Friday was fun.

Mike - yeah, it was fun seeing you and so many of the guys. There was maybe four I didn't quickly recognize and a few that weren't there on Friday, the only night I attended. Lot's of diversity in the room! And there I was among a bunch of out of shape old guys! It was a fun time and I'm glad I made it into St. Louis for the festivities. My only hope though was that I'd be in town when the Cardinals were playing but I missed that by two days.

Hey John - I assume you'll be at the Friday night classmates only thing at Chaminade? I have your phone number around here somewhere but not sure where at the moment. Would you be so kind as to forward it to me again? My email address is: and my cell is 303-726-3668. I was going to attend with Jim Rung but he had a change in plans and won't be there Friday. And what time does the frivolity start? I'll try contacting Mike Otten also - haven't spoken to him in about a year.
