BS English/Theatre Education, MA Design and Technical Theatre from UMC. Taught 12 years at Riverview Gardens, and 17 years at Hazelwood West High Schools. Married 1988 to Marti Fowler, the theatre teacher from Hazelwood East. Retired 2001, and worked professionally in STL as a designer, director, and theatre technician (including 2 years as master carpenter at Shakespeare Festival St. Louis).
Co-Developed instructional DVD/CD-ROM series Practical Technical Theatre in 2003, now in over 3,300 schools in the US, Canada, Australia, Dubai, Germany, UK, Egypt. We sold the programs to a publisher in 2018.
Educational Theatre Association Hall of Fame Award, MO Theatre Educator of the Year, Educational Theatre Association Standing Ovation Award, and MO Thespian Hall of Fame recipient.
Still playing music...old R&B, Motown, Blues, etc. Some things never change.
