School Story:

The two Toms in our class putting a pound of Limburger cheese behind the radiator on a bitterly cold morning in Winter. Bro. Molnar, wise bro. Molnar, when he entered an took a wiff, turned around and went out only to return with his heavy winter coat on and announced, "Open the windows boys, we need fresh air". No more was said.

The wild classes with Bro. Clinch, the brother covered with colored chalk.

Bro. Fred T. Weisbrook, the finest and best teacher I ever had.

I remember Phil very well as a talented cartoonist while at McBride.  He, I and a fellow Blessed Sacrament Parish classmate of his, Pat O'Brien, drew cartoons together.  Pat was pretty good,   I improved due to Phil's influence, but he was superior to both of us.   He was a gentle and loving "friend"  I had been contemplating making a trip to San Antonio to visit him but, regreatably, I never put my plan in action.  He is now "up there" with Pat and I cannot be too far behind.  You can be very proud to have been part of his familly and life.

He will always be remembered in my prayers.
