After graduation went to work for the Wabash Railroad. Married JoAnn McDaniel on February 15,1958. In 1964 the Wabash became the Norfolk & Western and they merged with the Southern Ry. in 1983. In 1991 moved to Roanoke, VA with my job. My wife died December 11, 1999. I retired in 2000 after 43 years service. Now I volunteer at the Red Cross and Meals on Wheels. Also spend 4 weeks in Treasure Island, FL from the middle of Feb. to the middle of March every year.
